Data Analytics Bootcamp provides students with a deep understanding of the fundamental techniques in data science, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.


Data Analytics Bootcamp focuses on acquiring strong coding skills in Python and R, in mathematical techniques, and in designing and applying data science APIs and frameworks to solve real world problems

Program Goals


  • Strengthen applied math and programming  knowledge needed for data science and AI

  • Acquire the analysis, design, implementation, and monitoring skills for IT & Big Data architectures

Program Structure


  • 2 weeks Preparation (80 hours - optional)
  • 13-week academic program (class/project hours), plus homework

Total program hours: 390 h.

    80 hours of Programming in Python, probability and statistics

  • Week 1 ~ Week 4

    Data Analytics Fundamentals

    • Python for Data Analytics
    • Introduction to Big Data analysis: data preparation and wrangling; data exploration objectives and methods: structure and unstructured data
    • Project: Big Data analysis using Python
  • Week 5 ~ Week 8

    Data Models

    • Introduction to Machine Learning: supervised and unsupervised learning
    • Supervised Machine Learning: Support Vector Machines,        
    • k-Nearest Neighbor, ensemble Learning and Random Forest
    • Model Training
    • Project: Implementation of Supervised Machine Learning Model 
  • Week 9 ~ Week 13

     Advanced Topics and Application

    • Supervised Machine Learning Algorithms: PCA
    • Machine Learning Neural Networks, Deep Learning Nets, and Random Forest
    • Project: Implementation of Unsupervised Machine Learning Model

Nathan Grossman, MBA

  • Data Analytics Bootcamp Teacher Bio

    As a former engineer, Nathan enjoys data science because it allows him to use a mathematical skill set which he acquired developing algorithms for individual products in order to optimize the behavior of entire organizations.


    Nathan began his career developing algorithms for wireless communications at Qualcomm. He subsequently worked in data analytics for IP applications, and in data science for WiFi applications. Nathan is currently a data scientist at Silicon Valley Bank, creating machine learning models for banking and marketing applications. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. When not working, Nathan enjoys skiing, cycling, wakeboarding and spending time with his wife and three sons.

Joe Comeaux

    Joe Comeaux is a Meteorologist , Software Engineer, Data Scientist and Instructor with experience teaching at all levels.  Along with his wife, he runs a non-profit company, Exploration Universe, whose mission is to get kids excited about science and technology as possible career choices.   Mr. Comeaux earned his MS in Meteorology from Florida State University and a certificate in Data Analysis and Visualization from Denver University.  He recently worked at Flatiron School and currently works at Pluralsight Inc and Manhattan Institute of Management as a Data Analytics and Data Science Instructor.
